The place is right in the middle of everything—ATMs, supermarkets and restaurants are just a short walk away, and the front desk has at least one staff member who can speak English, which made checking in painless. Finding the hotel was a breeze, too. The downside is the building itself; it’s clearly decades old and the whole thing reeks of stale cigarette smoke, so a thorough renovation and a good deep‑clean are long overdue.

For the price, the room was surprisingly quiet and spotless, which made the stay comfortable enough. The only real hassle was that the lift was out of service, forcing us to navigate a rather unpleasant staircase every time we needed to go up. Otherwise, it was a decent enough option for a budget trip.
