Overall, it was good in everything, not perfect but worth the price. It was quite clean and easy to find. The air‑conditioner impressed me because it was very hot outside, but when the window was open it was too loud because of the road below. The moment with the slippers was confusing: when you check in (we had rubber slippers because we needed to stay overnight) you’re told you must walk around the apartment in different shoes (you can buy hotel slippers), and you need yet another pair for the shower, so we were stuck wondering what to wear into the shower if not the rubber slippers… In short, keep in mind you need separate change‑of‑shoes for the shower.

Wonderful staff, very convenient location, the room looked as in the photo, it was clean, they called ahead and confirmed the booking. Overall, I was satisfied. It was really hot in the room. The remotes didn’t work (for the air‑conditioner and TV), and it felt like the air‑conditioner was actually heating, but I couldn’t turn it off. When we left, a cockroach came into the room. The general shower/toilet was fine for one night, but not very convenient if you stay longer.

I rented a separate room. Good place, very pleasant staff, liked the cleanliness, especially the bed and towel. You can see the renovation isn’t brand new and there are quirks, but that’s fully compensated by the cleanliness. The plumbing and kitchen are great. And the location is magnificent. I especially want to point out that I was welcomed and checked in late at night with absolutely no problems. I’m very grateful for that. I think the price‑quality for this option is fantastic. For that price, other hostels in this Kiev area are much dirtier. The only issue: a mosquito net on the window because they came in the evening.
