“Beautiful flat shame about the stairs”
The studio was spacious, clean, nicely decorated with excellent views and great facilities; not many hotel rooms have a cafetiere with freshly ground coffee or a yoga mat, and the breakfast was superb with their own made muesli and eggs benedict cooked exactly to my taste. However, the studio is not in the hotel building; a door between two shops leads into a tatty corridor and up a steep, winding staircase that is difficult to negotiate with luggage. I know there is nothing the Great Malvern Hotel can do about it, but it is quite off‑putting and such a contrast to the beautiful flat.
