The setting is picturesque, located right next to the main road. The apartment was clean and the bed comfortable, though a bit short for tall people. The apartment itself, which we stayed in, has had better years in the past. The first impression was okay – it was clean – but the details were disappointing. The socket behind the TV protrudes from the wall, hanging on wires, and when touched it started sparking. The TV only offered one English channel; the others were just black screens. September is a quieter tourist season, and with two rooms occupied in the whole building, hot water in the shower on the top floor only appeared after two adults had washed themselves (or after pouring water freely for 10 minutes). The wooden windows are not sealed – they let in a lot of outside noise (remember the location by the main road) and cold. During our stay, evenings and nights were already quite chilly, but it was not yet heating season – the rooms and bathroom were simply cold. On top of that, the barrier on the stairs was damaged – a broken, dangling wire posed a danger and could cause injuries or damage to clothing – you have to be careful when passing by. If someone chose the breakfast option, they need to know it will be very modest – scrambled eggs from two, maybe three small eggs, two or three slices of tomato, three slices of yellow cheese, two halves of a bread slice and a piece of butter – a portion for one person. Add coffee or tea and that’s it. If I had to go there again, I wouldn’t.
