“We enjoyed it very much. Wish it has been sunnier.”
We adored the gardens, the fall displays, the variety of accommodations, the outdoor games, the bike rentals, and more. The downside was that the restaurants were pricey.

The place was quiet and peaceful, with lovely gardens and a large field featuring fire pits. It was a bit distant from the city center.

The property overall was great, with a fun and relaxing backyard that included complimentary s’mores kits, tasty food and drinks, helpful and kind staff, and clean rooms. We had one hiccup when a soap dispenser fell in the shower, but it was fixed within hours. Not having to lug luggage around added to the enjoyment. The only drawback was that the hotel was a bit farther from many of the island’s main attractions; each carriage ride down and back cost $11 per person and ran only once an hour, which isn’t a deal‑breaker but worth planning for.

It’s a charming and highly desirable spot. Room service arrived a bit late.
