“It is a well-loved hotel that needs a bit more attention to detail when cleaning.”

The spot was great, but room 221 left a lot to be desired – black mildew on the wall and ceiling, dust piled up behind the towel vanity, and the whole bathroom felt old and smelled off. Still, the location was a highlight.

The place was pretty dirty and dingy, the sink was plugged, and the water was so hard that soap and shampoo wouldn’t rinse off; the heater had a terrible odor and the breakfast was awful.

Situated nicely in a rural area, it was very quiet and the natural surroundings were lovely; the property was clean and comfortable even though it’s pet‑friendly, so nothing to complain about – we stayed just for one night.
