The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were nice, though a bit dated and worn. Overall, everything else was fine.

The owner greeted us warmly at first, but a coworker and I were bitten by bed bugs after our second night, and we noticed the infestation. We had booked an additional night but declined to stay again for fear of more bites. When we requested a refund for at least one of the two nights, management immediately denied it. I believe I should be reimbursed for both nights because I had to replace a newer pair of boots after finding eggs in the sole, and I lost work time trying to arrange a new motel while dealing with our belongings left in the infested room.

The bed was very comfortable, the staff were great, and the hotel was just off the Expressway with minimal street noise. No one in the rooms above us bothered us, and the building didn’t have any loud fights. We could hear fire trucks, ambulances, motorcycles, and cars racing at night, but overall it was quiet for us. There was nothing else to complain about.

The room was clean, and check‑in was quick and easy. Linda was very friendly, and I appreciated having a microwave and mini‑fridge. Breakfast was decent, though we only had a banana, and there were coffee, half‑half, apples, clementines, bananas, and assorted pastries. The shower’s water pressure was very weak, and the motel’s proximity to the freeway made it noisy.

The room was original and well equipped, and you could sit outside comfortably. Despite the freeway being close, the setting felt natural and peaceful.
