“First class pub with rooms in a great location.”
This pub offers large, comfortable rooms that are very clean and have been recently renovated; our room had a new shower installed that same morning, which was excellent. The food, especially breakfast, was wonderful, and we learned that locals know it for its great cuisine.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and owner Alan is top notch, knowing how to run an establishment. The food is exceptional, the rooms are clean, tidy, and very dog friendly—highly recommended.

The host and staff were fantastic, and breakfast was excellent; the restaurant served good evening meals. The downside was the noisy road and the squeaking sign outside the bedroom window.
