“Wonderful beachfront stay with exceptional hospitality and amazing staff!”

Wonderful stay at Matcha Samui Resort! The beachfront location is excellent, close to the centre of Chaweng yet far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with an excellent bathroom and shower. Complimentary drinking water, coffee and tea were provided every day. The swimming pool was lovely, the beach beautiful, and the food very good. The highlight was definitely the hospitality! A very special thank you to NEEL and GBOW at reception, who were exceptionally kind, professional and helpful. They assisted me with renting a scooter, provided useful information about flights and airline tickets, and were always available to help with any request. Their genuine kindness, patience and attention to detail made my stay truly special. The entire reception team was fantastic. Excellent service and a wonderful experience! Nothing to complain about. Everything was excellent, and the wonderful staff made the experience even better.

The pool is nice, but breakfast was very small. The hotel is a little far from the centre of Chaweng.

“Extra Hard Beds”

Positioned on a beautiful beach and not too far from the centre of Chaweng, the beds were hard as rocks. I couldn’t sleep at night without a few drinks under my belt or some sleep gummies from 7‑11. I asked the staff if there was something they could do; they tried to help, but putting a blanket under the sheets doesn’t add much padding.

“Magnifique”

The staff were very friendly, the location is gorgeous with a beautiful beach and lounge chairs, and the beach bar is great. The breakfast was a bit too basic.
