The location, pool, and atmosphere are great. The bed is not great, and the ventilation from the restaurant kitchen is loud.

Everyone on the staff is kind and professional, the place is calm, the décor and room comfort are good, the meals are delicious and plentiful, the pool and garden are well arranged, and there’s a parking lot in front of the hotel. A 40€ afternoon sun lounger is excessive, and the Sunday afternoon music is nice but would be better if the volume were a bit lower.

The spot feels like a beach hideaway, the restaurant is excellent, and the staff are friendly.

The interior design at The Residence is stunning, rooms are spacious and clean with the most comfortable beds, the housekeeper is incredible and checks in daily asking if you need anything, cookies are left outside the room and coffee pods are given on arrival with a bowl of fruit, and the staff are exceptional (especially at the Beach House where they know you’re staying at The Residence). No need to book at the restaurant, they always fit you in. The pool is quiet despite the fun at the Beach House, so you can always retreat if you want calm. The parking lot gets massively busy because the Beach House is popular; on arrival we had a hire car and luckily parked on a curb.

The location, cleanliness, and comfort are great, and the housekeeper is excellent. We went as a family of four; even though we were hotel guests, we had no difference from the beach-goers who came by the day, we booked a sun lounger if there was a spot and paid 45€ for each lounger.
