Everyone on the staff was warm and welcoming, and there were plenty of nice little extras.

What a hidden gem! We were driving from London to Holyhead for the ferry and decided to stop overnight at the Mulberry Inn near Llangollen, just a few miles off the A5. The location was amazing—almost a pin drop of silence. The hotel sits on the edge of a sleepy hamlet with a shop and post office, and the scenery was stunning, with valley views. The staff were fantastic, no request was too much. The food was high‑class, beautifully presented. The rooms were among the best we’ve stayed in, with thoughtful touches that made the stay even better. The fact that people keep coming back shows how great it is. Allan, the owner, has done a wonderful job, and we’ll definitely return.

The place was nice and clean, and the staff were really friendly, but it was a long drive out of town into the countryside.
