The location was beautiful and the view spectacular, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent, but it was disappointing that the bar closed already at 21:00 in the evening.

The place is great and low‑key, but it feels a bit dated.

The only redeeming factor was the location; the owners and staff were friendly. The building itself lacks any architectural charm, feeling completely built‑up and outdated. The restaurant and entrance are dim with low ceilings that feel oppressive. Rooms and bathrooms are very basic, and breakfast is similarly simple. Paying 170€ for a double room is absolutely overpriced, especially when a Motel One offers a room for 125€ per night.

The hotel’s setting in the village of Garfrescha, perched on the mountain, is a plus. However, the property feels somewhat dated and could use a bit of attention.

The breakfast looked appealing and the setting offered a panoramic mountain view around the hotel; the host was very friendly and even up for a joke, and the rooms were in good condition with a shared bathroom for the two bedrooms and a separate toilet. However, we’re not used to cows ringing bells, and hearing those bells all day disturbed our sleep; after a long day it was a bit annoying to have them grazing near the accommodation, otherwise no further comments.
