I really enjoyed my stay. The location was great, and the family was so friendly and welcoming. We had some nice chats, which made the place feel very warm and personal. The food was delicious and homemade, and it actually reminded me of my mother’s cooking, which was a lovely feeling. A big thank you to the father and his sons for their kindness and for making everything easy and comfortable. I truly appreciated their hospitality!

The camel trek and overnight stay under the stars in the Sahara were amazing! During the day we went on a jeep tour through the Sahara, and they said slippers were fine, but my feet got burned while sandboarding (the slippers fell off) and we had to go to a small clinic—apparently this happens often. So wear closed shoes!
