“Disappointed”

The owner suggested eating in town. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy our stay at all. Wasps bothered us, the grass was overgrown, and plants grew in the gutters. We were also required to pay a cash deposit, which was inconvenient. Checking out was a hassle—we had to shout to get the owner’s attention to return the key and again to open the gate. The property seems more suited for stag or hen parties than families. Although the website claimed food was available, the host wasn’t keen on cooking. The “swimming pool” was just a small kiddie pool, which was disappointing. There were no towels in the cabin. On a bright side, the owner recommended a great pizza place in Ryn with lovely lake views.

“Ok na 1 noc, na dłużej na pewno nie wrócimy.”

There’s a fire pit on site, and the owners and atmosphere are great for young people and parties. A spider web greeted us at the entrance, and while the forest around means spiders and their webs are expected, the dust and grime were a bit much. To sit on the terrace bench we had to clean it first, same with the table. The cabin is theoretically for 10 people, but there were only six glasses. In the bathroom, the shower made a mess, and you have to buy your own wipes to clean it. There’s no mop or broom. Also a big drawback is the lack of curtains or blinds—there are many cabins on the same property, so a bit more privacy would help.
