The air conditioning was so cold that I caught a chill; even after setting it to 28°C it stayed at 20°C, and the bathroom walls were covered in fake eyelashes that gave me a start; cleaning needs improvement.

We chose this hotel for a staycation because a friend and I wanted to try the all‑you‑can‑eat Thai market on the fourth floor. Allan Tung at the front desk was very helpful and friendly; although check‑in was scheduled for 3 pm, he let us into our room early when it was ready. Our room on the 8th floor offered great scenery, a complimentary mini‑bar, and a TV that could connect to YouTube.

The “Good Morning” dish and the Thai market food were tasty and the building looked gorgeous, yet the bed was filthy, covered in tiny stones and dust, far below five‑star standards; even budget hostels provide cleaner linens, which really hurt my sleep, so I can’t recommend this place.

The front desk staff were consistently terrible, with an extremely rude attitude at any hour.

We’re grateful to the receptionist who upgraded us to the 10th floor, where the view was fantastic, but unfortunately the air‑conditioner blew directly onto the headboard and there was a sagging beam above it, making the night uncomfortable and something that should be addressed.
