Green Acres Inn

“Gracious hosts, charming room with an exceptional bed. Recommended!”

The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I chose Green Acres Inn over the chains because it looked charming and is family‑owned. Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed and my room was upgraded. The room was indeed charming, with wood floors, an electric fireplace (I didn’t actually try it, but it’s a nice touch), and fresh flowers—absolutely lovely. Some furnishings feel a little tired, so if that concerns you you might prefer a chain. That said, Green Acres is excellent value. Highly recommended.

“war in Ordnung”

The bed was only 1,40 m long—what Canadians call a double bed—while in Europe a double is at least 1,80 m × 2,00 m. The outside light burned all night and there was no switch to turn it off.

“Decent motel but wouldn’t stay again”

The grounds were beautifully maintained and the staff were friendly, but the washing powder used for the linens was obnoxiously strong, and a bench outside the window of our room was used for smoking, which was really frustrating.
