“Converted 300 year old farmhouse with delightful outdoor area.”
This place feels more like a B&B, having been turned from a three‑hundred‑year‑old farmhouse. The tiny historic town of Saint‑Charmassy is nearby, while larger towns with more amenities are a ten‑minute drive away. We spent many evenings in the lovely outdoor area, sipping wine and nibbling cheese. A selection of drinks is available for self‑service, though we brought our own wine. Hosts Floris and Marije are warm and friendly, yet they let us enjoy the property in peace. They offer an optional breakfast if we want it. The accommodation is spacious, clean, and comes with plenty of brochures to explore local attractions. The downside is that it’s not really set up for self‑catering; there’s a fridge, a microwave, and basic glasses, cups, plates, and cutlery.
