The breakfast was truly lovely, served with a view over the sea, and there was nothing else to complain about.

We had mixed feelings about our stay at Pure Salt Port de Sóller: the location is great, just a 2–3 minute walk to the beach, and Port de Sóller itself is beautiful. Breakfast was generally good, and most of the staff we met were friendly, especially Sandra, the breakfast hostess. Unfortunately, our first room was a major let‑down, especially considering the €200+ per night price. It was advertised as 18 m² but felt smaller, with very limited space for two people’s luggage, a tiny bathroom and shower, no balcony, and a view that was mostly a wall and a neighboring building. A drying rack was listed among the facilities but was not in the room; when we asked, reception suggested hanging wet clothes in the shower. After we pushed the issue, the hotel genuinely tried to fix it and upgraded us, which we appreciated and made the rest of our stay much more enjoyable. They even gave us breakfast at the ungodly hour of 5 a.m. when we had to leave. Overall, there’s a lot to like about the hotel, especially its location, the breakfast staff, and the beautiful views, but the original price‑to‑value ratio of the standard room was hard to justify. I’d recommend checking the different room categories carefully before booking.

The location is good, but the hotel fails to deliver the luxury feel it claims: my room was a little worn, as were various areas of the hotel. Service started well, but the reception desk was incredibly slow—I waited a day to get back to me about a simple question. The buffet breakfast was also disappointing—any hotel that calls itself luxury shouldn’t serve baked beans for breakfast.
