Nestled in a 14th‑century building on San Lio Square, just steps from the Rialto Bridge and Saint Mark’s Square, San Lio Tourist House blends historic charm with modern comfort. Restored rooms—some overlooking the square and San Lio Church—occupy the second floor, accessed via a partially open‑air staircase. Guests receive a complimentary tourist map on arrival.

The bedding was great and the hotel offered a free morning coffee. However, our room had a window that wasn’t insulated at all, letting in every street noise; I didn’t sleep until 2 a.m. on Saturday because the street was so busy. We felt cold the first night even with the second blanket.

The location and staff were very friendly. There was noise in the hallways.

The bathroom had a strong odor and the room was so noisy that you could hear from a nearby window and even from other hotel rooms.

The suite was spacious and supremely comfortable, perfectly situated in the quiet San Lio neighbourhood, just steps from the Rialto and St. Mark’s Square. The host’s welcome and advice were flawless. A truly elegant haven of peace to explore the city. We recommend it with closed eyes!
