“Inexpensive amazing hospitality”

The owners were wonderful and handled everything with ease, making our stay flawless. We were fine without toiletries in the bathroom, though others might prefer them.

“Ottima accoglienza, personale molto disponibile!”

The place is straightforward, the room is very spacious with comfy beds, and breakfast is generous and tasty! The staff are friendly, helpful, and even gave us free rides to and from Balapitiya for the river safari. We felt right at home!

“Stort och bra boende nära strand och stad.”

Gillade’s location is great, close to the beach and a dance school I frequent, plus shops nearby. It’s quiet and relaxing, with a huge room that includes a double bed and an extra bed, a full kitchen, a big fridge, a brand‑new AC, and fans. The hosts were helpful and the breakfast was good. I’ll definitely return.

“A hidden gem”

The host is very friendly, breakfast is excellent, and the room is huge with a superb mattress. It’s just a few steps from the beach where you can snag a free sunbed. Inside you’ll find a good table and chairs for work, and outside a seating area with chairs. Everything is spotless—absolutely amazing! The AC is a bit older, so it won’t be super cold, but two fans plus the AC make it manageable.
