The 1800s furnishings were beautiful and the room was very spacious. Chef Michael’s breakfast creations were fabulous, and the entire crew went out of their way to make us feel welcome and helped with anything we needed. Perfect.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good, and the house itself is beautiful. I especially liked the happy hour and the cookies at 8:30, plus the parking lot was a big plus. The cost was a little high, but that’s the reality these days. No other complaints.

The décor from its era was absolutely beautiful, with layout and furniture throughout the building giving a great sense of authenticity. The only quibble was that the air‑con was very noisy at night, probably because the building is very old, but it wouldn’t stop me from returning.

The food and accommodations were good, the staff excellent and very helpful, but several areas of window and door trim had obvious rotten wood that is poorly maintained and needs repair.
