The hotel is amazing!!! It deserves every compliment! I liked everything – the location, the décor and room equipment, and the breakfasts. The staff is wonderful. In the evenings, after walks, it was very pleasant to find silence. Two nights in a row, they brought us a plate of fruit. We are very grateful to the owners and staff for creating such conditions and for the warm welcome!!!

The resort is very beautiful and well‑located. There is a free shuttle to and from the train station. Our booked room was not available or, for some reason, had no hot water. The replacement room was very inconvenient and did not match any of the room types shown. In our opinion, it was definitely less beautiful.

We had a lovely stay in Pingyao. The traditional atmosphere and historic character of the hotel made our visit to the old city very special. The complimentary pick-up and drop-off was very convenient, and the staff were super friendly. The location was perfect for exploring Pingyao Ancient City, with everything within easy walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. Highly recommended!

They picked us up cleanly and then dropped us off again with a friendly man. The reception was very welcoming. My wife had some knee pain, so they offered us a ground‑floor apartment. The stay exuded a Chinese atmosphere that we enjoyed every minute of. The bed was a bit too hard, but it didn’t bother us.

A place that feels like stepping back a thousand years, and I’d rate it 11/10 if I could. We usually stay in fancy hotels, but this one has a unique charm that’s hard to find elsewhere. The staff are incredible—friendly, helpful, and they pay attention to every little detail. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! I’ll recommend it to anyone traveling to Pingyao, though the continental breakfast could use a few croissants, ham, and cheese; after all, we’re in China and Western food is a rarity, so I still give it an 11/10.
