“Una vacanza perfetta in un'isola che ha un fascino incredibile”
The design is truly original, following Lanzarote’s typical architecture as conceived by Cesar Manrique. The restaurant selection is good, especially the excellent La Graciosa, which is open for lunch as an alternative to the buffet and snack bars. Our room had a small terrace with no direct view but a beautiful sea frontage. The highlight, in my opinion, is the pool—very large, surrounded by tall, shaded palms and other typical vegetation that creates small private zones. The lounge chairs are spaced farther apart than I’ve seen in other hotels. The only flaw might be the buffet restaurant, where some dishes didn’t live up to the others. The pasta, for instance, was always offered in the same variants with the same three sauce options. I note that when we travel abroad we never eat Italian dishes, but pasta is better worldwide! Other dishes also fell a bit short of our expectations, such as the carrot salad that was surprisingly made with boiled vegetables instead of fresh ones. Still, the selection is so vast that we always found something we liked. The wine selection was absolutely good, including the always‑available Cava Freixenet, even at breakfast. As always, it’s best to try a small sample and then come back for a second round of your favorite dish.
