I really love Lena and her place. When I was cooking instant noodles, Lena kindly handed me Chinese chili powder, which was hilarious and very friendly. I stayed in a four‑person room, and my roommate’s sister was also cute; even though I didn’t understand a word, we always greeted each other with a friendly smile. I adore this all‑female hostel 😭, and the cat is adorable! While sitting on the second‑floor balcony, the cat would casually come by. The room is clean and feels like my university dorm; whenever I sit on the balcony and watch sunlight filter through the grapevine gaps, I feel so happy, like home. The location is convenient, walking to Avlabari station, and about a twenty‑minute walk to the puppet clock tower and Freedom Square. Along the way, there are several churches and monasteries to see, Sioni Church’s murals are beautiful, and at night by Meidan Bazar people sing and play accordion, which is lovely. You can also walk to the cable car station to go up the mountain to see the Virgin statue—really convenient. Then the RR Kitchen alley has great Indian food, perfect for a Chinese palate. Oh, and don’t bring a suitcase; the stone roads and many slopes make a backpack much easier!
