The location right in the middle of the Amazon was amazing, giving a huge vibe with all the jungle sounds, even though the accommodation itself was basic. Antoine and his wife were very warm people. Despite the basic setup, the spot was a must‑visit for us. The room had no hot water.
The property is very beautiful, with a pool and plenty of seating spots. The hotel owner is very friendly and open.
The facilities were okay, but I couldn’t use the pool.
“A nice place to Stay”
Breakfast wasn’t part of the price. The place looked nice, but the electricity kept cutting out. A water dispenser was there, yet the bottle stayed empty overnight and was never refilled during our stay. The owner is kind and tries to help, which is appreciated, but they don’t accept card payments. The pool water was cloudy and not as clear as the ads showed, though I’m not sure why.
The place sits just two blocks from the town centre, which was incredibly convenient, and I loved hearing the quiet sounds of nature while I slept. The only downside was the room’s cleanliness and the fact that, apart from the bed, there was no table, chair, drawer or any other surface to put my belongings on.
