We couldn't find anything to dislike. The place was easy to locate, and June welcomed us like old friends, ready for a chat. The room was clean, warm, and inviting, and the view of Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary was beautiful, with kangaroos and potoroos popping up now and then. Right behind the garage is the Dingoe enclosure, so we could hear the single kangaroos howl and see them from our side of the fence.

We asked for a gluten-free breakfast for one person, and the staff said they’d take care of it, but there was no GF cereal or bread in the breakfast area. The toilet seat was also dangerously loose, and the property wasn’t well sign‑posted, making it hard to find.

The spot was perfect for our wedding at Mt Lofty, and waking up to the bush setting was a treat. It was a short drive to shops and pubs. The only downside was that heating was only in the bedroom; I understand they plan to add it to the lounge and dining area.
