I met a funny Middle Eastern guy at the front desk who was cuteish, but they wouldn’t let me call the room or the police from the front area.

The place is great, just a walk from the SkyTrain station, and buses stop close by if you don’t have a car; it’s clean and cheap.

The price was reasonable, which drew a clientele that matched the cost, but the neighbors threw a party all night and there were people in the parking lot that I wouldn’t want near the place where I was staying.
