“Not a quiet hotel!”
I landed into a big, stylish room with a large shower and a bed that was super comfy with pillows that felt just right, plus blackout curtains that helped me sleep. The room was spotless everywhere, but it was cold when I got in and the water barely warmed up in the morning. It’s far from any local amenities, and a lot of the TV channels had no signal. The internet was slow, and traffic outside plus the noisy smokers under the window made it hard to rest. A yapping dog was outside early in the morning, and the staff didn’t seem to do anything about it. The bar downstairs played loud music, the doors slammed, and cleaners shouted across rooms even when a Do Not Disturb sign was on the door, which just meant “no guests” for them.
