The place is very quiet and the rooms are comfortable. Maybe a bit more infrastructure is needed, more lights on the paths, and some additional services.

The view of the volcano, the tasty breakfast, the beautiful outdoor area, and the super friendly mother‑daughter duo working there made us laugh a lot together. The only problem was a few mosquitoes and moths in the room.

We loved Nina and Jennifer, who were extremely friendly and helpful; they were the “maids” and the only people we saw during the stay. When we arrived there was no one waiting; we had to knock on every door until Jennifer appeared. She wasn’t waiting for us, and the room was very bad, very small, with a curtain falling. The shower was fine but there were signs saying the bath should be quick and if we dirty the towels we would have to pay a cleaning fee. I even feared I wouldn’t be able to dry myself. The room was cleaned every two days. It was very far from Caracoles, about 5 km; the tours came to pick us up, but on the way back we had to take a taxi because it was too far.

The bath was cold.

The room was spacious and clean, and the shower was good. It was far from the centre and the access was poor.
