The location is very close to the Main Square, Lake Guatavita, and a short walk to many restaurants, a pharmacy, and a small grocery block. The double room on the second floor offers a great view of the lake and has a private entrance. The room is comfortable, with heavy blankets for the cold. The host was very accommodating, letting me in early. Everything was fantastic; the only small note is that it would be nice to pay with a credit card, but most places in Guatavita, including restaurants, don’t accept them—still, all was excellent.

The place was central and clean, but the semi-double bed for a couple was uncomfortable and the windows let in a lot of light.

The room was comfortable, safe, and in a prime spot close to everything; the host was super attentive, always reachable on her phone. The only caveat unrelated to the accommodation is that in Guatavita there are no currency exchanges and most transactions require cash.

The place is top‑notch – clean, comfy, and the vibe is just great. The only hiccup was the manager’s rant about the rate we’d locked in through the online booking site, basically saying we’re losing out by using that channel. It was a bit off‑beat, but the rest was solid.
