The place was clean, the guy who served us was friendly, and the space was nice; just a bit hard to get to, though the locals were helpful with directions.

The spot was quiet, the roof view was stunning, breakfast was amazing, and the owner was really kind and helpful—highly recommend! Everything was perfect.

The view from the terrace was extraordinary, we had breakfast and quiet picnics there, a welcome break after the city bustle; Elephantine Island lets you relax. Our host was lovely. Some might be bothered by the shower being right next to the toilet and the bedding being especially firm.

This was the best hotel I've stayed in Egypt; my charger was left in the room and the owner helped find someone to deliver it to me—so grateful.

Sabah and Mustafa greeted me like family; the guesthouse is easy to locate from the ferry, and Mustafa was already waiting when I was late. My roof‑top room was roomy with a private bathroom, and I could use the kitchen for free coffee and tea. The terrace shows a magnificent view of the Nile, the Botanical Garden, and the Aga Khan Mausoleum, and laundry service is available. Everything was spotless. Sabah cooks delicious, authentic dinner dishes. I fell in love with this wonderfully peaceful place. Thank you so much, Sabah and Mustafa, for your incredible hospitality! Everything was fine!!!
