The chalet feels really cozy; it stayed warm during the day and even though night temperatures dropped to around 6 °C, we never felt chilly. The shower was surprisingly good and the kitchen basics let us whip up a quick breakfast or snack. The only real hassle is the steep, dirt road up to the property—low‑powered or low‑clearance cars can struggle a bit—but the incredible scenery more than makes up for it.

The inn still lives up to its “happy in the simple” vibe, though the special breakfast they used to serve is gone, leaving the mornings a bit plain. The chalet comes with a mini‑fridge and a tiny stove, so you either bring your own food or head into town, where restaurants are plenty but many have limited opening hours (some don’t open mornings, Sundays, or holidays).

The spot is beautiful and well‑kept, but there’s no breakfast offered on the premises.

What a fantastic place—rural, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful, and while they don’t serve breakfast, they do have some really tasty cakes on offer. I’d also recommend the guided coffee tour with the chemistry specialist; it’s definitely worth the time.
