I stayed at Pensee Guesthouse in Dalat and it was a great experience; the place feels cozy and family‑friendly, and they even let you rent motorbikes to get around the city. The elderly couple who run the guesthouse are very warm and welcoming, but be aware the main gate shuts between 10 and 11 pm for security, so if you’re a night owl you might want to look elsewhere.

The guesthouse is very clean, the rooms are spacious, and the balcony is breezy, all at a reasonable price. However, the hot water runs on solar power, so when the weather is gloomy there’s no hot water in the evening, and they’re missing a hair dryer and a fast‑boiling kettle.
