The spot was great, everything else was fine.

What really stands out is the central, quiet location and the air‑conditioning – perfect for a city break in Rome. The room already felt a bit worn; some parts of the kit need refurbishment, and cleanliness left room for improvement – dust, spiders in the shower, unsightly stains on the basin and tap. The toilet flush didn’t always work. The photos on Booking don’t match the current state of the hotel or the room. The breakfast, often praised as “excellent,” didn’t live up to that for us – it was basic, just enough to fill the stomach, nothing memorable or indulgent. The photos are misleading; the dishes shown are hard to find. The soft‑boiled eggs were ice‑cold. The breakfast area is tiny, no space to enjoy a calm meal. PS: If you’re claustrophobic or traveling with more than three people, expect a tricky lift ride.

A small hotel with only a few rooms kept it very quiet, and the central location was great.

Convenient spot, close to everything, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel sits on a very busy street, but the room itself stayed quiet.
