I think the place is still getting started; the upper part of the building isn’t fully finished yet. Still, our stay was decent, the room matched the price‑quality expectations for the area—nothing spectacular, but I’d recommend it under those conditions. It’s a short walk from the beach. The air conditioner did feel like it wasn’t cooling at first, but eventually it worked.

We booked last minute and it saved us the day. The staff were excellent, the rooms were spacious, clean, had air conditioning and a big comfy bed. The guy didn’t speak much English, we didn’t either 😃, but we got by. The room was interior, so no garden or terrace.

It’s a house with a room for rent, so you feel at home. The location is close to the beach and restaurants, it was clean and the breakfast was good. I spent a great 4 nights in Nilaveli.

Nice room close to the beach. The check‑in was a mess; the manager didn’t know we were coming. The vibe in that hotel felt strange. Breakfast wasn’t ready on time, there was nobody there, and we got no coffee or tea. The beds were wobbly and the pillows hard. No balcony.
