The owner was very friendly and attentive, but there was an unbearable chemical smell in the accommodation that even ventilation and an odor suppressor couldn't eliminate.

Privacy, location, and Alexandre were all excellent, making it worth repeating.

The location is great, less than a 10‑minute walk to the beach, and Alexandre is super friendly and attentive to any needs you might have. Note: we stayed in the individual apartment outside the main hostel building, which has rooms with multiple beds and a shared bathroom. It has the basics for a few days, but it's small and not entirely comfortable. The bathroom had some paint damage, the wood around the sink was peeling at the edge, there was a tiny window with a mosquito net that didn't ventilate, and the rug was quite worn. The smell was a bit odd and the room was hard to ventilate. The pillows were foam chunks with little fill. There were dirt residues in the kitchen, especially in the sink and fridge, and ants, and although there was no cleaning material at first, not even paper towels, Alexandre took care of it on the first day by reviewing the cleaning and leaving cleaning supplies.

The location was very good, but there was no coffee machine in the room, so you had to go outside to get coffee.

The location is perfect, but that’s the only good thing. You can’t upgrade to a suite that used to be a chicken coop – it’s damp, poorly lit, with an industrial floor and ants. Towels were insufficient, and overall it was not good.
