I was greeted with an exceptionally friendly welcome by the house owners, who explained everything and even arranged firewood for us; a tiny half‑grown Grysbok was also in the garden.

The house was spacious, featuring 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen; the hosts were lovely, very friendly, and helpful, making the property just right for us, though the hot water was lukewarm and the bedding, while fine for summer, will need extra warm covers as winter approaches.
