“Beau logement, bien situé mais personne à la réception pour nous accueillir...”
The accommodation is very spacious: a nice bedroom, a living‑room with kitchenette, a bathroom with a large shower. It’s ideally located (Gran Via is the border between the Christian quarter and the Arab quarter). During our four days, we saw no one at the front desk or reception. Check‑in is done only by a mobile app, which is unsettling and the instructions posted at the reception (empty) aren’t clear enough for a smooth process. We waited more than 15 minutes to get our virtual key, which was stressful. Personally, I would have preferred a person at the reception to greet us, give us advice about the area, and welcome us. During our stay we even helped a couple “understand” this “dehumanised” hotel system, which is really disappointing. Secondly, given its central location and the noise level at all hours, there were many sound nuisances, especially at night.
