The staff I dealt with were wonderful—helpful, friendly, and kind—and the location was terrific, right in the middle of where I needed to be, close to gas stations, coffee shops, and retail, with plenty of free parking and always cool water and coffee on offer; my request for a different room due to safety concerns was handled quickly and without issue. However, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and my original first‑floor room had not been updated, smelling stuffy and mildewy, with a broken latch lock, a non‑functional privacy lock, and a window that wasn’t working properly; I was able to change rooms because of these security concerns, and the new room was on a renovated floor, clean, and odor‑free. Public areas were not the cleanest, and the elevator often had crushed snack‑food crumbs, which is more a comment on guests than the staff.
