The building was old but clean, and the staff were friendly. However, a man accidentally entered the women’s bath; the front desk noticed because of the shoes left behind and handled it, but if the girls had gone first it could have been a serious incident. The staff managed to resolve the situation calmly, though two men who had mistakenly entered jumped out, which made us laugh, but the layout should clearly separate men and women to avoid such confusion.

The bath area was spacious and relaxing. The food over the consecutive holidays was repetitive.

The open‑air bath, sauna and cold pool are perfect for anyone looking to unwind, but the facilities feel dated overall, and although there are eateries nearby many are closed in summer, making the location inconvenient.

The location, cleanliness, roomy and comfy room, and welcoming staff were all excellent, and the onsen was great. The dinner restaurant food was decent but not spectacular.
