The air‑conditioned bed was comfortable. However, check‑in wasn’t ready until 3:30 pm, the room wasn’t clean when I arrived, and there was no safe in the room.

“Not a good experience at all”

The receptionist did her best and was the only staff on duty—she was overwhelmed. The hotel had many problems, the biggest being that credit cards weren’t accepted, which was a huge issue for us as we had 7 rooms for 5 nights costing over 60,000 baht and were told to pay after we left. The drain in room 103 was foul‑smelling, a known issue. The pool was dirty and cloudy when we arrived but cleared up by day 4. Housekeeping had to be requested daily; keys were left on the desk, and there was no security—anyone could grab a key when the desk was unattended. The bed linen and towels were old, ripped, and stained; one day we ran out of clean towels and had to share the last one after returning from the beach, waiting until the evening for a replacement. The rooms were in poor condition, with peeling paint on doors, dirty and stained floors, etc. The beach is about 400 m across a busy road, very rocky, and you have to walk another 500 m to reach the sand.
