Salty Dreams Manarola

The apartment sat in the prime spot for Manarola, was spotless and well presented, and the host was very welcoming, friendly, and helped with our luggage; we’d give our highest recommendation for our 3‑night stay at Salty Dreams. Nothing else bothered us.

“Favorite place to stay in Manarola.”

The spot is great—close to the overlook but not directly facing the water, near restaurants, and despite the foot traffic you don’t hear it from inside this lovely one‑bedroom sanctuary in Manarola, my favorite of the five towns. There are no steps to climb into the room, and the hostess’s mother met us when we were running late after getting off the wrong LaSpezia station (there are two, don’t get off the first one!); the host was very gracious and the place was perfect for resting. It’s very clean, so don’t miss it! We couldn’t think of anything we didn’t like. Guila is nearby if you need anything.

“Dream location.”

Salty Dreams is one of the properties featured in all the Manarola photos; just a short walk gets you to the iconic shots. The hostess was fantastic and getting there from the station was a breeze. We really enjoyed our time there.

The spot is perfect! The hosts greeted us warmly and even offered to hold our luggage on the day we checked out. The bed was amazing, the air‑con worked great, and I have to say the shower was the best I've ever had.
