The chance to rest and pause before arriving in Seoul and the sauna was a plus. The language barrier made it hard to communicate in English, and there was little more to offer; the area had very few options.

As an independent traveller, it was surprisingly easy to reach this place, especially thanks to its nice sulfur spring sauna. A better option would have been to drive or take a taxi.

The staff were very helpful, the sauna was available, and they let me store my bike inside. The tap water had a sulfur smell, and the sauna also carried the sulfur from the hot spring; it was far from restaurants or convenience stores.

The hotel's a bit rough around the edges, with some rooms smelling like rotten eggs, but the spa's not too old and the sauna's actually really nice. The problem is, there's no breakfast and the nearest place to grab a bite is a bit of a hike.
