The spot is great – the house looks tiny but turns out to be pretty roomy with a lovely garden. The lake view is just stunning. Nothing to complain about.

Quiet, bucolic, and peaceful – exactly what you’d expect in the countryside. All the basics are there, so you don’t have to hunt for anything. No downsides.

The cottage felt like home, super clean and cozy. The kitchen is huge and well‑furnished, and the place is just a few steps from the lake. Shared showers, toilets, and laundry are spotless, and the backyard is a gorgeous spot with plenty of seating. We’d definitely stay again.

Loved the décor inside and out – everything’s clean, stocked, and comfy, and the fireplace is a real highlight. I wish there were a few more hand towels and washcloths, but there were plenty of beach and bath towels. The only real downside? No Wi‑Fi inside.

The location is absolutely gorgeous – a resort vibe and right next to walking trails around Cowichan River and Lake. The beds are unbelievably comfortable. No complaints.
