The spot’s location is great, but the bathrooms could use a makeover.

Casa de las Olas Surf & Beach Club sits directly on Acapulco’s shoreline, offering a private beach, sea‑view sun terrace, rooftop and indoor pools, and a rooftop pool. Rooms include air‑conditioning, private baths, balconies, free Wi‑Fi, minibars and work desks. The family‑friendly restaurant serves Mexican and seafood dishes with outdoor seating. Private check‑in, concierge, free off‑site parking, and proximity (1 km) to General Juan N Álvarez International Airport complete the experience.

The place sits in a calm area right across from the beach, close to an Oxxo, pharmacies, and eateries, and the staff is attentive to your needs. The only downside might be the upkeep of the facilities; the sunbeds are already worn out.

Great location, attentive service, and clean surroundings.

The room above the restaurant exceeded my expectations: a fabulous space with a very comfortable bed and a mosquito net, a spacious and clean bathroom, and a private terrace with a covered sunbed and a bar that offers an enviable sea view. The beach was unbeatable, just a short staircase away, and the beach itself had sunbeds and pergolas only two meters from the crashing waves. The only drawback was that the shower water wasn’t cold; a hotter tap could have improved the already good experience.
