The breakfast was good with a lot of variety. The room felt very old‑fashioned, and in the bathroom a floor tile was missing, so a rug was simply laid over it. The kitchen showed some cracks or cuts. The floor made loud noises, and while the bathroom was clean it wasn’t modern.

The location was excellent, and the staff were great. The room matched our needs perfectly. However, flies and fruit flies were present at breakfast.

The hotel sits in a building over 400 years old on Town Hall Square, right in the center. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable, and it was very quiet at night. The staff were friendly, and a parking spot was available for €5. Breakfast offered a typical selection for a small hotel, everything fresh and tasty. Staying in the room lets you immerse yourself in a medieval atmosphere and feel like a medieval guest. Overall, everything was fine, but showering was a bit inconvenient. The room only had a bathtub with an old‑style tap. If that matters to you, keep it in mind, but for us it wasn’t a major drawback.

Fantastic location at the square. Tight but close to parking. When we arrived, there was no one on site to check us in. Breakfast wasn’t fresh even though it was served at the café. The staff seemed uninterested and bored.

A perfect overnight spot right in a charming little old‑town centre, just a short walk from the magnificent Monastery, making a visit here worthwhile if you’re in the area; the church is truly worth seeing. The rooms were nice and breakfast was very good; we could park our bikes in their courtyard, though they couldn’t be locked in a storage like at many other places. They had a good pub/café on the lower floor, and there were plenty of eateries along this lovely little street.
