The spot is spot on—quiet street, no traffic, and a short walk to the center. The host is a very friendly guy. Everything else was fine, no complaints, just the shower feels a bit awkward because the bathroom is tiny.

The place sits close to the center and the 24/7 shop, and the owner kept in touch well. But it's old and poorly maintained. There’s no key to lock the whole building, only some rooms can be locked. It gets scorching in summer, and during our stay the owner even unplugged one of the AC units.

I was left utterly disappointed and stressed. I had a confirmed booking and was already at the airport when the host suddenly called and said the room I’d reserved was “already sold” to someone else. The property was clearly showing availability and multiple room options at the time of booking. Instead of honoring the reservation, I was first told I could only stay in a different room for a higher price. That felt like a clear attempt to change the agreed conditions after confirmation. When I reasonably pointed out that any alternative should be provided under the same terms as my original booking, the communication turned aggressive and unprofessional, with the host repeatedly denying responsibility and shifting the blame elsewhere. Only after I said I would report the issue did the tone suddenly change, and I was told the room could be provided for free as a “favor,” which completely contradicted the earlier statements. The whole experience felt unreliable, inconsistent, and very poorly handled. If you don’t want the risk of being left without accommodation upon arrival, I’d strongly advise caution when booking this property, as there is a real possibility of being redirected or asked to pay more after confirmation.

I liked the location, the coffee, and it was relatively clean. I stayed in a room with an old sofa, and the bathrooms were a problem—head kept hitting the wall while showering, water everywhere, slippery bathtub, scary to slip, overall not thought out. I should note that my request to turn on the heater was fulfilled.
