The location is a bit far from the center and uphill, but it’s easy to reach and offers a breathtaking view; the staff are extremely kind and helpful. Bring insect repellent for the mosquitoes (present everywhere). The room was spotless and the sheets were new. Small but cozy, we were very comfortable in the two of us.

We stayed at B&B Cerza di Ferro the weekend of 12–13 July, booked by chance. I had never been to San Marco di Castellabate, and this choice turned out to be spot on. The property, though slightly outside the center, is surrounded by greenery and only a few minutes from the beach: a quiet yet convenient spot for those who want relaxation without giving up the sea. What impressed me most was the availability and friendliness of the owner Nunzia and her son, who made us feel welcome right away. Nunzia also runs the restaurant L’Arcata, famous for being the set of the film Benvenuti al Sud; we dined there and can confirm the quality: tasty dishes, generous portions, and a very fair bill. A positive experience in every way—we’ll definitely return.

I was shocked to find that this B&B didn’t offer breakfast at all, so it felt more like a simple room rental. The minibar was disconnected and had no water bottle; we had to turn it on ourselves and even bought a bottle in town, but it made a loud, annoying noise. I wanted to complain in person to the owner, but the place is up in the mountains, not in the town center as Google shows (wrong street), so the owner sent her son to collect the tourist tax instead.
