The spot was really quiet and the host was super friendly, which made us feel welcome right away. Unfortunately the room got sweltering because there was no air‑conditioning, and the bathroom was down the hall instead of attached. Overall a nice stay if you can tolerate the heat.

The owners were fantastic, especially Erik with a K who arranged transport to town multiple times and to the station when we departed. It was a great experience, and everything else was fine.

Our host was extremely kind and helpful, and everything in the house was set up nicely. The neighborhood isn’t the most charming, but the location is perfect for cycling into Ypres centre. The only downside was the heat inside – there was no air‑conditioner or even a fan, which made it uncomfortable.
