“Warm and clean, needing more sleeping options for a family of 4”

The property was clean and warm, but as a family of four we were given a double bunk bed; my daughter was too young to use the top bunk because there were no safety rails and it was too high, and there was no ladder, so my husband, who weighs 90 kg, had to climb the side of the bunk to get in. I’m not sure if the next‑door room was unavailable when I booked, but it had a single and a double bunk bed, which would have been safer and more comfortable for us. When we returned home on Saturday evening, a power cut hit the whole street and we couldn’t use the spa.

The place has a solid set of communal spaces and the location is spot on. The only hiccup was the jacuzzi – it took about four hours to get hot, which was a bit annoying.

I hit this spot for a snow trip and it was a steal – great price, easy access to Mansfield and the slopes, and the rooms were clean and comfy. The staff were quick to respond to messages and super helpful, so I’ll definitely book again.

“exciting trip”

It’s right near Mt Buller, which is a big plus if you’re heading up there. The downside? The amenities are pretty basic and leave a lot to be desired.

The location is solid and the lounge and kitchen are a decent size, but the top bunk feels unsafe – no side bar and the mattress is thick. Also, the cupboard in the kitchen was a bit dirty.
